{SAHM Style} Pink Polka Dots

Nothing brightens my errand running, busy days as much as pink. This pink polka dot skirt is making me absolutely giddy. I don't normally get super excited about polka but it's so much more fun in pink. I like how this outfit turned out. There's a lot of prints mixing and providing visual interest. I've got stripes, graphics, polka and floral!

Scored the homemade skirt at my favorite Goodwill. I was immediately drawn to it. I can't tell if it's vintage or not as it is home sewn. I do know that the waist to hip ratio is working in my favor which isn't the case with a lot of vintage skirts. I'm usually one meal away from a button popping open. I was able to eat a lovely brunch with V and not feel the pinch in this one.

I wore it with my Madonna tee because it was clean. Sigh. Busy errand days means laundry mountain growth.

I think the light pink on bright pink color combination is working out well. I added railroad stripes to the mix to give it some edge as if old school Madge isn't enough.

Brought it back to mom zone with trusty comfort wedges. They are pillowy soft. They give me some height and leg definition but I'm not hobbling around complaining about baby toe pain. I wasn't too sure about Toms but I'm so glad I have these in my closet. I get a lot of wear out of them.
