You ever wake up and pull about 10 different outfits out of your closet and then end up wearing the very first thing you tried on? That would be the african print skirt pictured.
I've expressed my love for ankara while wearing this very skirt so I'll try not to start gushing again. African print styles are just perfection for dressing up with ease.
I like to mix things up and try new things with my personal style. Sometimes nothing works and you just have to go with what does work. You can't go wrong with chambray and you can't go wrong with ankara. The bold print stands out and commands attention.
The chambray shirt is just there being reliable. It's my 2nd favorite non black or white basic. First being leopard print but not sure it was appropriate here. The skirt is the focal point.
Or maybe it's the shoes? The shoes are focal point #2. I found another great deal on Amazon and bought these claiming them as my new spring shoe. I can't wait that long. I've been wearing them around the house much like a kid playing with new toys at Christmas. Just so thirsty.
They're my basic black but not and they match both -- my old faithful denim shirt and my vibrant african prints.
Do you wear african print?

In love with that skirt! It looks so gorgeous with the chambray top but I suspect it'll work with a variety of other pieces, too. So cute!!
