Finding $178 white J. Brand jeans with a moderately high rise AND a jean hem that fits your leg length perfectly is like finding a unicorn. The "please fit me, please fit me" prayer really does work. The fact that they were $5 and some change makes this thrift store score even better.
I put white jeans on my thrift wish list recently. I've stayed away because of my inability to keep them clean. My last pair of thrift store white jeans were Tory Burch. I sold them on eBay before I couldn't completely ruin them.
Well, I don't think I've ruined these but I didn't even get out of the house before a spot appeared. After lunch, there was spot #2. I took them off before the sun went down to avoid further damage. I hope I can "shout it out".
This african print top is a fruit from my Unclaimed Baggage haul last year. I love that it has a very subtle pink and red color combination. It's hard to see unless you look really close. Such a bold print really pops agains the jeans.
The bracelet and ring are also from the Unclaimed Baggage road trip. I wanted to keep the jewelry simple and these pieces are unique but very everyday wearable.
I have a vintage sunnies thrift habit. I cannot stop buying them when I see them. The bigger the better. I'm not sure I'm getting much UV protection but they keep the sun out of my eyes and hide the eye makeup that is literally sliding off of my face in this heat.
I wear them as much as I wear the natural colored flat sandals. They have been my go to shoe since I got them. A natural colored leather shoe goes with everything and the flatness of the sandal is almost like walking barefoot.
