I found a great vintage dress just sitting in my closet. Last year, I wore it as a top with jeans and this year I'm loving it as a dress. The dress had broken stitches everywhere and the fabric isn't the greatest. I stitched over a lot of the seams and it's stronger than ever. I feel good about wearing it sans pants.
I wanted this dress despite the crappy stitching. The vintage print and buttons are fantastic. I wore it with jeans last year feeling unsure about length when I sat down. I have less girth this year making it hang a little better on me now.
The over the knee boots provide good coverage on the lower half. I don't usually pair mini skirts with high boots but the loose fit and flower power print tone down the Pretty Woman vibe.
I added an extra layer with the camouflage jacket for warmth and to break up the print a bit. I added more prints to a print for visual interest. I also just happen to really love this jacket. It's roomy and can accommodate several layers.
I was obviously in the mood for green so I completed the outfit with green earrings and one of my t-shirt necklaces which also serves as a nice neck warmer.
